What Our Team Has Been Loving This Spring

Spring is hands down one of our favorite seasons. The weather is chef’s kiss—warm, breezy, and perfect for walking job sites without breaking a sweat. And here on Anna Maria Island, the water is turning that dreamy turquoise blue that makes you want to slow down and soak it all in.

The season is in full swing here and our team has been feeling it in every way—from what we’re sipping and smelling to how we’re styling ourselves and the spaces we design. Dive into our team’s current obsessions this season:

Jess: Owner and Principal Designer

Taste: Microgreens are my new go-to for fresh, springy salads—especially topped with a simple grilled protein.

Scent: Our HSH Collective spring candle, of course! It adds the smell of lemon verbena, and gardenia in our office and at home.

Style: Give me a cute short set, a breezy sundress with some sneakers, and anything from my favorite boutique, Nomad Collection, and I’m set.

Bridgette: Lead Rental Designer

Taste: I’m in my lavender kombucha era, and I’m not mad about it.

Scent: Obsessed with Jasmine right now. Candles, lotions, whatever form it comes in—I want it.

Style: Bold colors and patterns are my must-haves right now (in design and my outfits!)

Emi: Architectural Designer

Taste: Lavender everything—matcha, lattes, you name it.

Scent: I’m loooooooving gardenia-scented candles.

Style: Sundresses and sandals are officially back in the rotation.

Sarah: Design assistant

Taste:🍓🍓STRAWBERRIES 🍓🍓… and Detweiler’s key lime pie (life-changing)

Scent: Still undecided, but fresh-cut flowers always do the trick.

Style - For fashion, I personally have fallen victim and love the neck scarf trend - on dresses and tops! I love all the lace and floral styles and pretty spring dresses. For interior design, I’ve been drawn to the West Indies style—arched stucco details, colorful shutters, and beautiful trim details.

Rain: Design Assistant

Taste: Key lime pie cookies from The Blond Giraffe are my weakness

Smell: Coconut Mahogany—my go-to smell for spring and summer

Style: Long, flowy skirts and linen pants with sandals—laid-back but totally put-together. (Honestly, I have skipped spring and gone straight to summer!)

Mallory: Design Assistant

Taste: Pineapple everything! Since I am in Florida now it feels so island-y.

Scent: Lavender lemonade. I love lavender year-round, but there is something about a lavender lemonade that just screams spring.

Style: My favorite spring style is skirts. Long, midi, short. Whichever one works. A little spring skirt is always cute.

That’s what we’ve been into lately— it’s the little things that make spring feel extra good.

So tell us... who on the team are you most like this season? Are you all about the florals and fresh fruit, living your best life in linen, or maybe a little bit of both?

Catch you next season! Happy Spring – your friends at HSH Collective
