Shower Tile Combos We’ll Never Get Tired Of
If there’s one thing we’ll always obsess over in a bathroom, it’s the shower tile. Seriously, selecting tile is like selecting a diamond, but instead of the cut, color, clarity, and carat, it’s the color, pattern, shape, and layout.
These are some of our favorite shower tile combos we keep coming back to over and over again.
Feeling Blue
Blue tile in a bathroom just makes sense, especially in the coastal homes we design. We love everything from soft seafoam greens to deeper ocean blues because it instantly makes the space feel fresh, calming, and a little beachy without screaming “themed bathroom.”
The slight color variation in these tiles is what makes them so pretty, too. It keeps the shower from feeling flat and adds way more character.
Coastal Curves & Fishscale Tile
There’s just something about curved tile that makes a bathroom feel more fun and custom. Scalloped shapes, rounded edges, and fish scale-inspired patterns make the bathroom feel less boxy and builder-basic.
It’s the kind of tile people always stop and ask about.
Marble Everything
Honestly… marble bathrooms will never not be pretty.
Big marble slabs, soft gray veining, marble mosaics, it all feels timeless and high-end without trying too hard. We especially love pairing marble with brass fixtures because it keeps the space feeling warm instead of cold or too formal.
Soft Neutrals
You really can’t go wrong with creamy whites, warm sand tones, and soft beige tile. These bathrooms always feel calm, bright, and relaxing. Neutral tile also ages really well because it’s classic and easy to layer with different hardware, decor, or paint colors later on.
Basically… the kind of bathroom you still love years later.
Pattern Play
Bathrooms are honestly one of the best places to have fun with tile because you can go a little bolder without it feeling overwhelming. Striped tile, patterned floors, decorative walls, and fun layouts add personality and make the bathroom way more memorable.
Add Some Color to Your Bathroom Tile
We’ll always love a soft neutral bathroom, but colored tile can give a space so much personality. Greens, blues, and even pinks can add contrast to your bathroom without completely taking over the space.
Honestly, sometimes all a bathroom needs is one really good tile color to make the whole room feel designed.
Big Tile Energy
Large-format tile and slab-style showers always make a bathroom feel extra clean and expensive. Fewer grout lines = a more seamless look, which also helps the space feel bigger and brighter.
The best shower tile combinations are the ones that feel timeless but still feel like you. Whether you love soft neutrals, dramatic marble, or fun patterns, the goal is always the same: create a bathroom that feels beautiful, relaxing, and actually enjoyable to live in.
